Exhibition Program: "Tracing the Light” Dance Performance
Join us for a contemporary dance performance from Nancy Havlik's Dance Performance Group with accompanying music by Miles Spicer and Yaya Patterson. The performance will feature a new poem by poet Regie Cabico. This new production of music, poetry and dance was conceived by choreographer Nancy Havlik in response to Anne Lindberg’s immersive installation what color is divine light? The performers use sound, the movement of their bodies, and the space around the installation to explore the notion of suspension and luminous floating.
About the Installation
Contemporary artist Anne Lindberg’s immersive installation what color is divine light? transforms light and thread into a site for contemplation and reflection on connections with ourselves, communities and individual conceptions of the divine. A series of programs within the gallery bring community members together for shared experiences designed to foster understanding and transcendence. Learn more about the installation
