Our Principles
Your purchase helps sustain culturally meaningful textile traditions that are threatened by mass production, climate change and loss of generational knowledge. We are committed to upholding the following principles in pursuit of an ethical commercial exchange.
Fair Trade: We purchase products only from companies that provide good working conditions for workers and ensure no child labor or forced labor was used.
Sustainable: We source textile products that are produced in responsible ways, both for the maker and for the planet.
Handmade: We feature unique or one-of-a-kind items that emphasize quality craftsmanship.
Culturally Authentic: We present objects that emanate from the geographic regions that developed their techniques and aesthetic, or by artists who are inspired by their cultural traditions and textile techniques.
