About the Display

In 1925, George Hewitt Myers (1875-1957) founded The Textile Museum with a collection of 275 rugs and 60 related textiles. Over the last hundred years, The Textile Museum Collection has continued to expand thanks to the generosity of donors. This global selection of recent acquisitions includes examples chosen from large, significant groups of artworks donated within the last five years.
