Celebration of Textiles

Saturday, September 3, 10 AM–5 PM
Sunday, September 4, 1–5 PM

Join us at the museum and GW’s Mid-Campus Quad for a free family festival celebrating the textile arts and cultures from around the globe. Stop by on Saturday for artist demonstrations, hands-on crafts, and international performances inspired by the exhibition Stories of Migration: Contemporary Artists interpret Diaspora. Art activities will continue on Sunday. Funded in part by the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, an agency supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.
