Gallery Talk: Textile Preparation for Woven Interiors

Cathleen Zaret, associate conservator

Cathleen Zaret, associate conservator, will lead a program in the galleries of Woven Interiors: Furnishing Early Medieval Egypt. Zarat will share some of the methods, materials, and decision-making processes employed in preparing to display these rare, beautifully crafted, fragile, and infrequently viewed archaeological textiles.

This program is part of the museum's weekly Textiles at Twelve series, which explores textile arts and global cultures through films, lectures, gallery talks, and more. Free; no reservations required.
