Conference: Unveiling Fashion: Textiles, Design, and the New Circular Economy

This one-day conference helps bridge the gap between the consumer and the fashion industry, while kicking off this important conversation locally. By the end of the day, attendants will feel better informed about the negative environmental impact of the fashion industry, its effect on its workers, and be prepared to implement sustainable changes at home and in their neighborhoods.

This program relates to the exhibition Fast Fashion/Slow Art presented at the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design. This program relates to the exhibition A collaboration with the D.C. Sustainable Fashion Collective and GW’s Office of Sustainability. Fee: $55/members, $75/public, $5/GW students. Visit the conference website for registration information.
