Workshop: Learn to Sketch Textiles

Daniel Moreno, MFA '19, Interior Architecture, Corcoran School of the Arts & Design

Daniel Moreno, a graduate student from the GW Interior Architecture program, will lead a workshop focused on sketching artworks from The Textile Museum's collections. The workshop will begin with an introduction to on-site sketching and the tools and methods used. After this orientation, visitors will head to the galleries to sketch the architectural perspective, as well as the inspiring designs on display.

This program is part of the museum's weekly Textiles at Twelve series, which explores the textile arts and global cultures through films, lectures, gallery talks, and more. Free, but reservations are required. Register online.
