Film: "RiverBlue"

The fashion industry, from denim to leather to fast fashion, is widely considered one of the world’s most polluting industries. RiverBlue is a feature-length documentary film that chronicles an unprecedented three-year, around-the-world river journey by paddler and conservationist Mark Angelo, during which he uncovered and documented the extensive pollution impacts of the global fashion industry. (Paddle Productions, 2016, 95 minutes.)

This screening is part of an evening film series, hosted at the museum and inspired by the exhibition Fast Fashion/Slow Art at the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design.
