Workshop: Freestyle Fishnet Knotting

Fishnet knotting is a technique that continues to be employed by fisherman to maintain their nets in Southeast Asia. This one-day workshop with master fiber artist Kyoko Nitta, whose work is on view in The Box Project, Uncommon Threads, will teach you to make your own small net bag and pendant using freestyle fishnet knotting. A second edition of this workshop will be offered on Saturday, January 20.
