Fashion Show: Scraps on the Runway

Howard University Fashion Program

Experience the magic of designers-turned-models owning the runway as they proudly highlight nearly twenty of their eclectic, upcycling designs. Dress up for the occasion, and linger for a light reception following the fashion show. If you cannot make this event, be sure to join student designers and faculty at the October 26 Sustainable Fashion Research Fair at the museum.

This program is inspired by the exhibition Scraps: Fashion, Textiles, and Creative Reuse and is presented in partnership with the students of Howard University Fashion Design Program and faculty members Dr. Lucy Gause and Mikki Taylor.

Fee: $20/museum members and GW students, faculty, and staff; $25/public. Advance registration is required; space is limited. Register online or call 202-994-7394.
