Voices of American Design: Dan Dailey

Master glass artist Dan Dailey creates sculptures and functional art objects including vases, chandeliers, windows, and railings. An independent artist and designer for Cristallerie Daum, France for the past three decades, Dailey has also worked for Fenton Art Glass Company, Steuben Glass, Venini, and Waterford. Over the past forty years, Dailey has participated in more than 300 exhibitions, including a major retrospective at the Renwick Gallery. His work is represented in more than fifty museum and public collections in the United States, Europe, Australia, and Japan. Dailey’s studio is in Kensington, New Hampshire, where he is a professor at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
